Online Form for Indian Coast Guard Navik GD/DB & Yantrik

The Indian Coast Guard has released the official notification for the Coast Guard Enrolled Personnel Test (CGEPT) – 01/2026 & 02/2026 batches, inviting online applications from male Indian citizens for the posts of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrik.

The application window is open from 11th June to 25th June 2025. Candidates must meet specific educational and age criteria, with vacancies totalling over 600+ posts across various categories. The selection process consists of four rigorous stages, including a computer-based exam, physical fitness test, document verification, and medical examination.

The training for selected candidates will commence at INS Chilka in February and July 2026, respectively. Selection Process

1. Stage I – CBT Exam (Online): Based on the post applied (different subjects and combinations for GD, DB, Yantrik)
2. Stage II – PFT, Assessment Test, Document Verification, Medical
3. Stage III – Document Re-verification at INS Chilka, Identity Verification, Pre-enrolment Medical
4. Stage IV – Final Document Verification with Board/University

Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• 1.6 km run in 7 minutes
• 20 squat-ups
• 10 push-ups
  All three in succession without a break

Application Fee

• ₹300 for General/OBC/EWS
• Free for SC/ST

Pay Scale

• Navik (GD/DB): ₹21,700 (Level 3)
• Yantrik: ₹29,200 (Level 5) + ₹6200 Yantrik Pay

Medical Standards

• Height: 157 cm (relaxation for hilly/tribal regions)
