Fast Track Selection (FTS) Entry in Indian Air Force
12-December 2019...........

THE FTS ENTRY IN INDIAN AIR FORCE

Hale hale all the aspirants of Indian Air Force because there has been a brand new addition to the opportunities available for joining Indian Air Force. The addition I am talking about is termed as FTS.

Elaborated as Fast track selection, FTS lies parallel to AFCAT entry except for a few changes. FTS is an entrance procedure through which candidates are selected for a particular branch in a sort span of time.

The notification for FTS is not an yearly phenomenon. It solely depends upon the number of candidates selected through AFCAT. If and when the count is less then FTS is conducted. As the name suggests, this is a fast- track entry, meaning the selection process is quick and short.

Talking about selection process, here is an insight on it:

-Candidates are selected as per their performance in AFCAT followed by Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

-Qualified candidates then undergo a detailed document check to ascertain eligibility and thereafter are issued call letters for further testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) (Dehradun, Mysore, Varanasi or Gandhinagar).

Furthermore, the eligibility criterion to apply for FTS includes:

-Candidates should be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR have BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized University with minimum 60 % marks.

-Candidate’s age should be between 19-23 years.

Last but not the least comes the application procedure:

Interested candidates must download the form of FTS and fill it accordingly.

Next, the registration is done on spot.

Applicants have to bring their complete documents to ensure successful registration. The necessary documents are listed below:

Two copies of pre-filled FTS Admit Card (on A4 size paper) as per format given in this advertisement.

Original certificate and Mark sheet of class X th (as proof of date of birth) and of class XIIth.

Original certificate and mark sheets (all semesters/years) of Graduation.

Proof of identity such as Passport, Driving  Licence, Voter Identity Card, College Identity Card or any other valid photo identity proof.

Three recent color passport size photographs.
