Sarang Helicopter Display Team Showcases ALH Dhruv

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is taking part in the Singapore Airshow 2026 with its famous Sarang Helicopter Display Team. The team is flying the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv, which is designed and manufactured in India.

The Sarang team is well known for its precision flying, close formations, and disciplined manoeuvres. Their performance highlights the agility, reliability, and operational strength of the ALH Dhruv, which is used for many roles such as transport, rescue, surveillance, and humanitarian missions.

The Singapore Airshow 2026, Asia’s leading aerospace and defence exhibition, is being held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from 03 to 08 February 2026. The event brings together global air forces, defence companies, and aviation experts, providing a platform for strategic interaction and industry cooperation across the Indo-Pacific region.

This year’s airshow features four flying display teams, including the Sarang Helicopter Display Team, and a static display of 37 aircraft.

The Sarang Aerobatic Team, formed in 2005, operates five ALH Dhruv helicopters. The team has performed at major international airshows such as MAKS Air Show (Russia – 2021), Dubai Air Show (2021 & 2023), Bahrain International Air Show (2024), and Singapore Airshow (2024 & 2026). Apart from airshows, Sarang also plays an important role in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.
