Raksha Rajya Mantri to Head Indian Delegation at World Defence Show 2026 in Saudi Arabia

Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth will lead a senior-level Indian delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for participation in the 3rd World Defence Show (WDS) 2026, scheduled to be held on 08–09 February 2026. The event is set to witness participation from over 700 exhibitors and nearly 400 official delegations from across the globe. India’s delegation will include top officials from the Department of Defence Production along with senior officers from the Indian Armed Forces.

A key highlight of India’s participation will be the inauguration of India’s first-ever dedicated Pavilion at WDS, spread across 400 square metres. The Pavilion will present a strong display of India’s expanding indigenous defence manufacturing and technological capabilities. Leading public sector defence enterprises - AVNL, AWEIL, MIL, BEL, IOL, BDL, and YIL - will showcase a wide range of defence systems, including armoured platforms, artillery systems, missiles, ammunition, and radar technologies.

On the sidelines of WDS 2026, bilateral discussions between the Raksha Rajya Mantri and his Saudi Arabian counterpart are scheduled. In addition, RRM will engage with representatives of prominent Saudi industry organisations to further strengthen defence cooperation and industrial partnerships between the two nations.

The World Defence Show, a biennial global defence exhibition hosted by Saudi Arabia, holds considerable strategic value for India’s defence sector. It serves as a powerful international platform to project India’s Make in India and Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, showcase cutting-edge defence technologies, and deepen collaboration within the global defence ecosystem.
