• Indian Navy's Marine Commandos also known as Dadhi Vala Fauj foiled a Piracy Attempt on a ship with 15 Indian Crew.
•  Indian Navy's prompt response resulted in a successful rescue and no sailor was harmed.
• Indian Navy has a powerful presence in the Arabian Sea, a major trade route. Indian Navy has been conducting anti-piracy operations for a long time and Indian Marine Commandos have been instrumental in such operations.

Assam Government Initiates ‘Gunotsav 2024’

• The 8th edition of ‘Gunotsav’ has started in Assam.
