India has tested UCAV ‘Ghatak’.

• DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) has successfully demonstrated Autonomous Flying Wing Technology.
• Autonomous Flying Wing Technology was demonstrated in this test flight by DRDO.
• This technology demonstration will help India to develop UCAVs (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles) in future.

India has decided to purchase Crude Oil from Venezuela.

• India’s Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has decided that India will start purchasing Crude Oil from Venezuela.
• Venezuela was unable to supply its crude oil to other countries due sanctions imposed by western countries.
• India has recently decided to import crude oil from Venezuela because India wants to diversify its energy sources.

The Sultan of Oman is visiting India.

• The Sultan of Oman Haitham Bin Tariq is visiting India on his state visit.
• Oman and India have decided to sign a Free trade Deal between both countries.
• Oman is a strategic partner of India and both countries share deep cultural and political ties.

Finland has granted access to its 15 Military Bases to the USA.

• Amid rising tensions of NATO with Russia, Finland, which is a NATO member, has provided access to its 15 strategic military bases to the USA.
• These bases will prove to be a critical asset for NATO against Russia as these bases are located in the strategic region of the Arctic.

China Launches Deepest Lab On Earth, More than 2,000m Below Ground.

• China marks a physics milestone with the operational Deep Underground and Ultra-low Radiation Background Facility (DURF), the world's deepest lab at 2,400 meters.
• This Lab has been Jointly built by Tsinghua University and Yalong River Hydropower Development Company, Ltd., the facility provides unique testing conditions that are not available to scientists elsewhere.

• Haryana and Maharashtra came second and third respectively in Khelo India Para Games.
• Khelo India Para Games were organized for the first time in New Delhi to encourage Para Games at grass root level.
