Since the UPSC has conducted the NDA-2 2024 exams and the cut off shall soon be available once the recruitment process is completed. As per probability, the NDA-2 cutoff is expected to go anywhere between 320-340 based on the difficulty level of the exam. The candidates are required mandatorily to secure cut-off marks individually for both the written exam and the SSB Interview. The cut-off criteria for NDA written exam is calculated out of 900 marks and for the SSB interview it is also calculated out of 900 marks. The final NDA cut-off then rests at a total of 1800 marks and apparently for every section the candidates need to secure 25% of marks respectively. The NDA eligibility for all qualifiers considers a score of 400-500 marks to be a sure shot spot to be eligible to get into the final merit list. NDA 2 2024 Paper Analysis
The NDA 2 2024 exam as conducted by the UPSC to select candidates for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy respectively. All the candidates who have appeared for their NDA exam are keenly waiting to know the expected cutoff for the NDA exam for this year. The final selection of the candidates rests upon their overall qualifying performance in both the written exam and the SSB Interview. Upon the completion of the same, the Joining letter is then issued to all the selected candidates as per the available vacancies.
The exam consists of 2 papers namely Paper I: Mathematics and Paper II: General Ability Test. Mathematics paper consists of 120 Questions that are of 2.5 marks each, while the General Ability Test consists of 150 Questions that are of 4 marks respectively.
Based on the candidate's feedback who appeared this year preferably Mathematics paper ranged from easy to moderate. Questions for this section mainly focused on Determinants & Matrices, Differentiation & application, Permutation and combination, Quadratic equations and cube roots, Static & DI, Sets Relations and Functions, Vectors, Integration & application, 3D geometry, etc. If an individual has attempted a total of 75-85 questions that can be considered as a good attempt.
The General Ability Test paper comprised a total of 150 Questions of four marks each. A good and decent number of questions appeared from the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, and History sections. Spotting errors, Idioms & Phrases, ordering of words, Antonyms, and Synonyms were the questions asked mainly in the English section. The level of the GAT section was moderate. A candidate attempting a total of 90 – 100 questions with 90% accuracy would be considered definitely a good performance.
