Step-by-Step AFMC Admission Process 2026

AFMC doesn't conduct a separate entrance examination like other colleges. It is conducted on your NEET 2026 score, upon which a screening process takes place, followed by an interview and medical tests. Here’s how it works

Step 1: Appear for NEET 2026

The first step in NEET 2026, which will be conducted by the NTA, is qualifying.

The NEET content area's syllabus has Physics, Chemistry, and Biology that are taken from the NCERT syllabus for Classes 11 & 12.

Aim for a good qualifying score for AFMC to be in the range of 580-610.

Step 2: Register Separately for AFMC Pune

After NEET results are declared, visit afmc.nic.in and fill out the AFMC MBBS Application Form.

This step is unavoidable even if you have previously given NEET.

Steps to Apply:

  1. Visit the official AFMC website.
  2. Register using basic details and NEET Roll Number.
  3. Enter personal, educational, and contact details.
  4. Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, certificates).
  5. Pay the application fee (around ₹250–₹300).
  6. Submit and take a print of the confirmation page.

Step 3: Shortlisting Based on NEET Score
