Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Musician Intake 01/2026: Eligibility

Educational Eligibility:
Must have passed 10th (Matric) from a recognised board.
Should have good musical ability, including:
- Correct tempo & pitch
- Ability to sing a full song
- Ability to read any notation system
- Ability to play at least one musical instrument
Musical Qualification (any one):
- Grade 5 or higher from a recognised music institute
- Diploma in Hindustani or Carnatic music
- Certificates/awards from recognised music competitions

Mandatory Medical Standards
Height
- Male: Minimum 162 cm
- Female: Minimum 152 cm
- NE/Hilly Uttarakhand: 147 cm
- Lakshadweep: 150 cm
Chest
- Male: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion
- Female: Well-proportioned; minimum 5 cm expansion
Hearing
- Must hear a forced whisper from 6 meters in each ear.
General Health
- Must be physically and mentally fit to serve in any climate or terrain.
- Should be free from medical/surgical disabilities and communicable diseases.

Agniveer Vayu Musician 01/2026: Monthly Salary & Benefits
Monthly Package
- 1st Year: ₹30,000
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500
- 4th Year: ₹40,000
30% salary goes to the Seva Nidhi Fund, matched by the Government.
After 4 years, candidates receive approximately. ₹10.04 lakh.
