ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR 9 Female Officer Entries For DEFENCE ASPIRANTS

 

1. Military Nursing Services (MNS)

  • Age Limit: Female candidate aged between 17-25 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Female candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 50% in aggregate in PCBE.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases once in the month of November
  • Number of Attempt: Female candidate can successfully apply once in a year for MNS.
  • Conducted by: MNS exam is conducted by Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC).

 

2. Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE)/ Officers Training Academy (OTA)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 19-25 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/Female candidate must have graduated from recognized university.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases twice in the month of October and August
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply twice in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

 

3. Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate for Flying Branch aged between 20-24 years is eligible to apply. Male/Female candidate for Ground Duty aged between 20-26 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/female candidate for flying branch must have B.E./B.TECH degree with 60% is eligible to apply. Male/female candidate for ground duty must have graduated with 60% is eligible to apply.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases twice in the month of July and November
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply twice in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Air Force

 

4. Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 19-24 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/female candidate must have B.E./B.TECH degree with 60% can apply.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases twice in the month of July and November
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply twice in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Navy

 

5. National Cadet Corps (NCC Special Entry)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 19-25 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/female candidate graduated with 50% from recognized university and NCC ‘C’ certificate with minimum grade can apply.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases twice in the month of January and July
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply twice in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Army

 

6. Short Service Commission (SSC tech)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 20-27 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/female candidate must have B.E/B.Tech degree in notified stream can apply.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases twice in the month of January/February and July/August
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply twice in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Army

 

7. Short Service Commission - Judge Advocate General (SSC JAG)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 21-27 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/Female candidate must have LLB degree with 50% Marks can apply.
  • Notification Period: Notification releases twice in the month of April and October
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply twice in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Army

 

8. University Entry Scheme (UES)

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 18-24 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/female candidate who is pre final year students of notified engineering stream can apply
  • Notification Period: Notification releases once in the month of July
  • Number of Attempt: Male/Female candidate can successfully apply once in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Navy

 

9. Territorial Army

  • Age Limit: Male/Female candidate aged between 18-42 years is eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Male/female candidate must have graduate from recognized university
  • Notification Period: Notification releases one in the month of May & June
  • Number of Attempt: Female candidate can successfully apply once in a year
  • Conducted by: Exam is conducted by Indian Army
