The Indian Air Force has published the notification for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2022 on its official website. Online applications are invited from unmarried male candidates for the selection test for Agnivver under the newly launched Agnipath scheme. Interested male candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force under the Agnipath scheme can apply online from 24 June 2022 onwards. Eligibility Criteria for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2022

 

Date of Birth

 

Candidates applying for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2022 should be born between 29 December 1999 and 29 June 2005. In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on the date of enrolment is 23 years.

 

Educational Qualification

 

Candidates applying for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2022 should possess any one of the following qualifications as per their streams.

 

Science Stream: 

 

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

  • Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

  • Passed Two years of Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Maths with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

 

Other Than Science Subjects:

 

  • Passed 10+2 examination in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

  • Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

 

Agniveers will be entitled to honors and awards, as per extant guidelines governing the subject for the Indian Air Force. Grant of leave will be subject to exigencies of service and the leave may be applicable for Agniveers during their engagement period including an annual leave for 30 days per year and sick leave based on medical advice.

 

Indian Air Force Agniveer Corpus Fund and Remuneration

 

On completion of the engagement period of four years, Agniveers will be eligible to receive the ‘Seva Nidhi’ package, which shall comprise their contribution to the Agniveer Corpus Fund and a matching contribution from the Government and interest on the accumulated amount.

Following documents are to be uploaded as applicable to respective candidates:-

(a) Class 10th /matriculation passing certificate.

(b) Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent mark sheet

 OR

3 Yrs Engineering Diploma Final Year Mark sheet (if applying on the basis of 3 Yrs Engineering Diploma from a Govt. recognised

polytechnic in prescribed stream) and Matriculation mark sheet (if English is not a subject in Diploma course).

OR

2 Yrs Vocational course mark sheet and marks sheets of non-vocational course with subjects English, Physics and Mathematics.

(c) Passport size recent colour photograph (taken not before April 2022) of size 10 KB to 50 KB (front portrait in light background without

head gear except for Sikhs). The photograph is to be taken with candidate holding a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of

photograph taken, clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters.

 (d) Candidate’s left hand thumb impression image (Size 10 KB to 50 KB).

 (e) Candidate’s signature image (Size 10 KB to 50 KB).

 (f) Candidate’s parent’s (Father/Mother)/Guardian’s signature image (if candidate is below 18 years on the date of filling the online

 application).

 (g) The mark sheet indicating marks in E
