The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducts the national-level entrance exam, commonly known as Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), for recruiting eligible candidates to join the prestigious Indian Air Force. The AFCAT exam is conducted every year in two phases namely, AFCAT 01/ 2021 and AFCAT 02/ 2021. The Phase 1 exam of AFCAT is usually conducted in February & March, whereas, the Phase 2 exam is conducted in June & July. This year the AFCAT (1) 2021 exam is scheduled from 20th to 22nd February 2021.

Every year a huge number of candidates appear for the AFCAT exam to fill a few vacant posts as notified by the Indian Air Force. The AFCAT (1) 2021 Cut-off is the minimum required marks to be scored by the candidates in the written exam to get qualified for the further selection process. The AFCAT cut-off marks are released in two forms, the cut-off marks for the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT), and the cut-off marks for AFCAT. The Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) is mandatory along with the AFCAT exam for those candidates who wish to join the technical branch of the Indian Air Force.


The cut-off is a major component of the whole selection process by which the candidates are shortlisted for the further recruitment process. The cut-off score of AFCAT changes every year due to various factors as mentioned below:
