• The administration of Lansdowne has passed a resolution to change the name of Lansdowne to Jaswantgarh.
• Rifleman Jaswant Singh was Sino-Indian War Hero.
• Lansdowne was originally known as Laundanda. Its name was changed to Lansdowne after British Viceroy Lord  Henry Lansdowne.

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has released Panchayati Raj Index 2023.

• Minister of State Morshwar Patil has released Panchayati Raj Index 2023.
• Panchayati Raj Development Index 2023 is based on 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Development Programme.

Iran will become a regional member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

• In a virtual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, Iran will be approved to become a regional member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
• Belarus is also scheduled to apply for membership in the SCO.

Pakistan gets 3 billion $ loan from IMF.

• International Monetary Fund has approved 3 billion $ loan for Pakistan to avoid default.
