The Department of Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade has signed an agreement with Gujarat for the promotion of ODOP Products.

• A major agreement has been signed between the Department of Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade and the Government of Gujarat for the promotion of ODOP (One District and One Product) Products.
• Gujrat currently has 68 distinctive products.

The USA has elected a woman admiral to lead the US Navy.

• US President Joe Biden has selected Admiral Lisa Franchetti for the job of Navy's top officer, which would make her the first woman in the history of the US Navy to hold the position and also the first woman in the joint chiefs of Staff.

Srilankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe has arrived in India for major agreements.

• The Indian Prime Minister has met Srilankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe who is on an official visit to India.

• Many agreements related to fishing grounds, UPI, and Debt agreements are expected to be signed between both countries.

India’s forex reserves touch the mark of 900 billion $.

• Indian Foreign Exchange Reserves now stood at 609.02 billion $.
• The reserves rose by $12.74 billion $.
• Forex reserves increased due to the revaluation of rupees against the dollar.
