Indian Government Sanctions Export of Non-Basmati Rice to Seven Nations

Remarkably, the Philippines emerges as the primary beneficiary of this allocation, with an entitlement to acquire a sizable 295,000 metric tonnes of non-Basmati white rice for exportation. Cameroon follows closely, being allotted 190,000 metric tonnes, while Malaysia is set to import a substantial 170,000 metric tonnes. Nepal, in turn, is designated to receive 95,000 metric tonnes of this essential commodity.
