India and Japan are holding the ‘Dharma the Guardian’ exercise in Rajasthan.

  • The fifth edition of the joint military exercise 'Dharma Guardian' between the Indian Army and the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Forces commenced on Sunday at Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan.
  • India and Japan regularly conduct an annual exercise called 'Dharma Guardian' which is held in both countries alternatively.

Prime Minister  Launches Ayush Health Projects In Jhajjar & Pune.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated two institutes of the Union Ministry of Ayush.
  • ‘The Central Research Institute of Yoga & Naturopathy (CRIYN) in Jhajjar, Haryana, and the National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) titled ‘NISARG GRAM’ in Pune, Maharashtra were inaugurated by the Prime Minister Modi.

Coast Guards from India, Sri Lanka, and Maldives conduct a joint exercise called ‘Dosti 16’.

  • India, Maldives, and Sri Lanka have conducted a joint biennial exercise named 'Dosti'.
  • This exercise was conducted by the Coast Guards of three countries to develop cooperation to deal with new emerging security challenges.

Attukal Pongal was celebrated in Kerala.

  • Pongal, also referred to as Thai Pongal, is a multi-day Hindu harvest festival celebrated by Tamils and Keralites.
  •  It is observed in the month of Thai according to the Tamil solar calendar.

The WTO ministerial summit is going to take place in Abu Dhabi.

  • The 13th Ministerial Meeting of the World Trade Congress will take place in Abu Dhabi between 26th February to 29th February.
  • A range of issues starting from agriculture to fisheries will be discussed among the partner countries.

Deepika Kumari wins two Gold Medals in the International Archery Competition in Baghdad.

  • The three-time Olympian and Former world number one archer Deepika Kumari bagged two gold in India's rich haul of 14 medals at the Asia Cup Leg 1.
