Union Public Service Commission, Combined Defence Services or UPSC CDS Exam 2022 notification has been released online today, on May 18, 2022. As per the notification, the CDS 2 registrations have also started from today itself. Candidates can now apply online on the official website - upsc.gov.in.

UPSC CDS II 2022 registrations process would end on June 7, 2022, just like UPSC NDA, NA 2 exam. Candidates are informed that for the CDS exam, the application process and fee payment will be done online only. After the form filling is done, all candidates must download their UPSC CDS application form and also print a copy of it.

As per the information available, USPC CDS 2 exam date is September 4, 2022 (Sunday). The paper will be held in offline mode and everyone will be expected to carry their UPSC CDS admit cards as well. The link to apply for this exam has now been updated and shared below. Candidates can also refer to the eligibility criteria given below.

CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAMINATION:

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test

 

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates are required to apply online by using the website http://upsconline.nic.in Brief instructions for filling up the online Application Form have been given in the Appendix-II (A). Detailed instructions are available on the above mentioned website.

The Commission has introduced the facility of withdrawal of Application for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. In this regard, Instructions are mentioned in Appendix-II (B) of this Examination Notice.

Candidate should have details of one Photo ID Card viz. Aadhaar Card/Voter Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Any other Photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government.

The details of this Photo ID Card will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form.

The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of the Photo ID whose details have been provided in the online application by him/her.

This Photo ID Card will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this Photo ID Card while appearing for Examination/Personality Test/SSB.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION AND WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATIONS:

  1. The Online Applications can be filled upto 07th June, 2022 till 6:00 PM.
  2. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 14.06.2022 to 20.06.2022 till 6.00 PM. Detailed instructions regarding withdrawal of Applications is available at Appendix-II (B).
  3. 4. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website ( http://upsc.gov.in) for downloading by 2 candidates. No e-Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active e-mail id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them.
