The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) holds a national-level entrance examination twice a year to induct eligible male and female candidates into the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Chennai. This examination is popularly known as the Combined Defence Services Examination - CDS Exam. The Officers Training Academy (OTA) is an Indian Army training facility that prepares officers for the Short Service Commission (SSC). One of the best things about the OTA Chennai is that it trains both male and female candidates. To crack the CDS OTA exam with adequate marks, candidates need to understand the complete syllabus and exam pattern properly. In this article, we will discuss in detail the CDS OTA syllabus 2022.

Complete Syllabus of CDS OTA 2022 Exam

The CDS OTA written examination consists of two sections, English and General Knowledge. The CDS Exam Pattern for the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy is divided into three sections (English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics), but the Officers' Training Academy has only two sections (English, and General Knowledge). Here, in this article, we will discuss only the CDS OTA Syllabus 2022. The CDS OTA written exam is conducted in an offline mode and consists of only objective-type questions with answers to be marked on an OMR sheet.
