Haryana becomes the first state in India to have a 100% electrified railway network.

• The railway network in the state of Haryana in India was completely electrified by Indian Railways, making it the first state in the country to achieve 100% electrification of its railway network.
• Indian Railway has set a target to be fully electrified by 2020.

The space system design lab was inaugurated recently in Ahmedabad by the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe).

• The Space Systems Design Lab’s purpose is to help space start-ups turn their innovative ideas into implementable models more quickly, and reduce research and development costs

ISRO tests autonomous reusable launch vehicle.

• Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Indian Air Force have tested autonomous reusable launch vehicles.

• The name of this mission was RLV LEX.

INS Sumedha has visited Port Algeria.

• INS Sumedha is an indigenously-built stealth offshore patrol vessel that is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and sensors. Recently, it reached Port Algiers, Algeria for an operational turnaround.

Ukraine gets a Loan of $ 15.6 billion from the IMF (International Monetary Fund).

• The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a loan program worth $15.6 billion for Ukraine as part of a larger $115 billion package to aid its war-torn economy.
• The International Monetary Fund is a major financial agency of the United Nations, and an international financial institution, headquartered in Washington, D.C., consisting of 190 countries.

H3N8 Virus has been found in China.

• H3N8 is a type of Bird Flu.
• Bird flu, also known as avian influenza, is a viral disease that affects birds but can be transmitted to humans and other animals, including horses and dogs.

Russian Navy has test-fired P-270 Moskit Missile.

• The Russian Navy, on March 28, test-fired supersonic anti-ship missiles at a mock target in the Sea of Japan. The missiles, identified as Moskit cruise missiles

Italy has banned the use of English as a language in any form.

• Italy has banned English to promote Italian in the country.
• Any use of English in Italy will now attract financial penalties of € 100,000.

• Former Indian Cricketer Salim Durani has passed away at the age of 88 years.
• Salim Durani played 29 test matches for India.

Amit Kshatriya, Indian Origin Robotics Engineer has been appointed as Software and Robotics Engineer at NASA’s New Moon Mission.

Amit Kshatriya, an Indian-American engineer with expertise in software and robotics, has been appointed as the inaugural head of NASA‘s newly-established Moon to Mars Programme.

• India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves rises by $ 5.98 billion to $ 578.79.

In the third quarter, India’s Current Account Deficit comes down to 2.2% of the `total GDP.

• India's current account deficit declined to $18.2 billion (2.2% of GDP) in Q3 Financial Year 23 from $30.9 billion (3.7% of GDP) in Q2 Financial Year 23 and $22.2 billion (2.7% of GDP) a year ago. Underlying the lower current account deficit in Q3 Financial Year 23 was a narrowing of merchandise trade deficit to $72.7 billion from $78.3 billion in Q2 Financial Year23.
