CDS 1 2022 Notification

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the official notification for the CDS 1 2022 exam on 10 April 2022. Candidates who wish to join the Indian Armed Forces can apply online for the Combined Defence Services - CDS examination from 22 Dec 2021 - 11 January 2022. Interested candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria required to appear for the CDS exam can fill the online application form through https://upsconline.nic.in/. Note: Applicants who are in their final year/semester of a degree program and have yet to pass the final year degree examination are also eligible to apply. Such candidates should ensure that they do not have any present backlog up to the last semester/year for which results have been declared up to the time of submission of the application.

 

 

How to Apply Online for CDS 1 2022 Exam

Interested candidates are advised to read the official notification thoroughly to check the required eligibility norms. If they meet the specified eligibility criteria for the CDS 1 2022 exam, then they can apply online through the official website of the UPSC from 22 Dec 2021 - 11 January 2022. Following are the stepwise instructions to fill the online application form

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of the UPSC https://upsconline.nic.in/
  • Step 2: Click on “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC”
  • Step 3: Now, select the CDS Exam and click on the “Part I Registration”
  • Step 4: Now, fill in the required details and complete the registration process.
  • Step 5: Now, you will receive a registration ID through SMS on your registered number.
  • Step 6: Now, Click on “Part II Registration” and log in with the RID and Date of Birth
  • Step 7: Make a payment of the exam fee, i.e., INR 200/- through any of the digital modes.
  • Step 8: Now, select the exam center as per your preference for the CDS written examination.
  • Step 9: Upload your photo, signature, and a valid ID proof within the size of 20 KB - 300 KB
  • Step 10: Now, click on “Agreeing to Declaration” and submit the online application form.

 

Note: Candidates are advised to take a printout of their online application form for further reference. Female / SC / ST candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
