UPSC has declared the result of the written part of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026 on 1 October 2026.

The result PDF contains the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified in the written examination.

What If Your Roll Number Is in the Result PDF

If your roll number is mentioned in the NDA 2 2026 written result PDF, it means that you have qualified the written stage.

But this is not the final selection.

The next major stage is the SSB interview, where candidates are assessed through different activities and tests. The SSB process is different from the written examination, so candidates should start preparing accordingly.

Candidates should also carefully follow the instructions issued by the concerned authorities regarding SSB interview registration, centre selection, dates, and other formalities.

What Happens After NDA 2 Written Result

After clearing the written examination, candidates move towards the SSB stage.

The SSB process broadly involves different stages and activities such as:

• Officer Intelligence Rating Test
• Picture Perception and Discussion Test
• Psychology Tests
• Group Testing Officer tasks
• Personal Interview
• Conference

The exact instructions and schedule will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through the official channels.

Clearing the written examination is an important step, but candidates still need to qualify the subsequent stages and meet the prescribed medical and other eligibility requirements for final selection.

NDA 2 2026 SSB Preparation

For many candidates, the biggest question after the written result is simple — “What should I do now?”

The answer is to start working on SSB preparation without wasting too much time.

Written exam preparation and SSB preparation are quite different. In the written exam, candidates mainly work on subjects such as Mathematics, English, General Knowledge and other areas covered under the examination syllabus. SSB, on the other hand, involves individual and group activities designed to assess candidates across different aspects of the selection process.

This is why candidates who have qualified should start understanding the SSB process, practising screening tests, working on communication and preparing for psychology and GTO activities.

At Centurion Defence Academy, aspirants can get structured guidance for SSB preparation through training covering areas such as OIR, PP&DT, Psychology, GTO tasks and Personal Interview.

The focus is on helping candidates understand the process and practise the different activities rather than simply memorising answers.

NDA 2 Result 2026 – Important Documents and Details

After checking the result, candidates should keep their important examination documents safe.

These may include:

• NDA 2 2026 admit card
• Written examination result PDF
• Application details
• Educational documents
• Identity documents
• Other documents required for the SSB process

Candidates should also regularly check the official websites and instructions related to their SSB call-up and registration.

NDA 2 2026 Result – What Candidates Should Do Now

If you have qualified, there is no need to spend too much time celebrating or worrying about the written marks. The next stage requires a different kind of preparation.

Start with the basics.

Understand how screening works, practise OIR questions, work on PP&DT narration and discussion, revise important current affairs, prepare your personal information and get familiar with GTO and psychology tests.

At the same time, do not try to create artificial answers for the Personal Interview or psychology tests. SSB preparation should help you understand yourself and the process better rather than teach you to give memorised responses.
