TGC 139 Notification Released by Indian Army - Apply Now

The Indian Army has issued the TGC 139 notification on its official website. All eligible unmarried male graduates from engineering stream can apply online for the 139th Technical Graduate Course. The TGC 139 Course will commence in July 2024 at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army. All such engineering graduates who have been born not earlier than 02 July 1997 and not later than 01 July 2004 can apply for the TGC 139 course through the official website of the Indian Army.

• Applications will only be accepted online on the website of the Indian Army. 

• Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’.

• Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully. 

• After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard. 

• A page of Officers Selection ‘Eligibility’ will open. 

• Then click ‘Apply’ shown against the Technical Graduate Course. 

• A page ‘Application Form’ will open. 

• Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’.

• Fill details as required under various segments.

• ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next segment. 

• Check ‘Summary of your information’ and make edits if required. 

• Click on ‘Submit’ after ascertaining the correctness of your details.

Indian Army TGC 139th Course Selection Procedure

• Applications are only shortlisted if they meet the minimum score requirements for each engineering field or stream. The process is done by the Integrated Headquarters of the Ministry of Defence (Army).

• Candidates who have been shortlisted must choose a center from among Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Kapurthala (Punjab) for the SSB Interview.

• The next stage involves appearance before the Services Selection Board (SSB), which consists of a psychologist, a group testing officer, and an interviewing officer.

• The SSB-recommended candidates go through a medical examination in accordance with the Medical Standards and Procedures for Officers Entry into the Army.

• Lastly, considering the score in the SSB interview and the medical fitness of candidates, the final merit list of selected candidates is declared for admission to the Indian Military Academy.
