SSB Interview Preparation Tips By 4 Times Recommended Sarvesh AIR-53 IMA | Defence Guru Talks

Meet Sarvesh Navade (AIR 53 IMA), who has been 4 times recommended and is a 13 times hard core SSB repeater. His ability to work hard with consistency and perseverance has made him who he today. An inspiration to every SSB aspirant out there. “Success is neither magical nor mysterious. Success is the natural consequence of consistently applying basic fundamentals.” When we understand why consistency is an important habit to have, we can use it to our advantage. It’s highly unlikely we’ll achieve great things if we’re not consistently making smart decisions and taking the right actions. When we’re consistent, it means we’re dedicated to carrying an activity or completing a task. It means we’re clear on what we want to accomplish and are taking the necessary steps to reach it. To be consistent is a commitment we make to ourselves and others. It’s about keeping our word to carry out what we’ve agreed to do. Our level of consistency reflects our values and standards. When we’re consistent, it means we’re doing what’s required now to achieve a better outcome in the future. Therefore, consistency is about repetition. It’s about doing the same things repeatedly over time to reach a desired outcome.

NDA-2 2020 Topper Success Story | NDA SSB Interview Experience | SSB Tips | Defence Guru Talks

Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. It seems that failure tends to be more public than success. Or at least that’s what we perceive it to be. We fret it, we try to avoid it, and we question ourselves every time we have unconventional ideas. But the simple truth is – no great success was ever achieved without failure. It may be one epic failure. Or a series of failures – such as Edison's 10,000 attempts to create a light bulb or Dyson’s 5,126 attempts to invent a bagless vacuum cleaner. But, whether we like it or not, failure is a necessary stepping stone to achieving our dreams. My name is Sachin Kumar belonging to Begusarai, Bihar. I secured AIR 7 in NDA 146 in 3 rd attempt while the previous two attempts ended up in screen outs. My primary education was from local school and fortunately got into RIMC (Rashtra Indian Military College) Dehradun. The environment there was very encouraging and my mentors, seniors and juniors pushed me to work harder for proving my communication skills. I followed a routine which included reading newspapers everyday, taking part in public speaking, group discussions and interacting more in English.
