Women Military Police Selection Process 2021

Indian Army has invited online applications from eligible female candidates for recruitment to the post of Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police). A total of 100 vacancies have been notified by the Indian Army for enrolment of Women Military Police. The interested candidates are required to apply for the concerned vacancies by registering themselves on the official website of the Indian Army. Online registration will be open from 06 June 2021 to 20 July 2021. Applicants will receive their admit cards for the rally on their registered email id. Candidates are advised to reach the venue as per the schedule as mentioned in their Admit Cards. In this article, we will cover every important aspect related to the selection procedure of Women Military Police in the Indian Army. 

• All-female candidates who have passed the High School examination are eligible to apply for this recruitment rally provided that their age falls within the specified limit. 

• The recruitment rallies will be conducted at Lucknow, Ambala, Jabalpur, Pune, Belgaum, and Shillong, however, the applicants will be allotted venues based on their home districts. 

• The venues listed above may undergo a change based on the circumstances, therefore, applicants should follow only their admit cards for the final location and date of the recruitment rally. 

भारतीय सेना ने सोल्जर जनरल ड्यूटी (महिला सैन्य पुलिस) के पद पर कुल 100 रिक्तियों की भर्ती हेतु एक अधिसूचना जारी की है। न्यूनतम 45% अंकों के साथ हाई स्कूल परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाली ऐसी सभी महिला उम्मीदवार जिनकी आयु निर्धारित सीमा के भीतर हो, इस भर्ती रैली के लिए आवेदन करने हेतु पात्र हैं। इच्छुक उम्मीदवार भारतीय सेना की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण करके 06 जून 2021 से 20 जुलाई 2021 तक आवेदन कर सकते हैं। 

भारतीय सेना द्वारा सोल्जर जनरल ड्यूटी (महिला सैन्य पुलिस) की भर्ती रैलियों को लखनऊ, अंबाला, जबलपुर, पुणे, बेलगाम और शिलांग में आयोजित की जाने की योजना है। महिला उम्मीदवारों को सलाह दी जाती है कि वे भर्ती रैली के निश्चित स्थान और तिथि के लिए अपने प्रवेश पत्र का ही पालन करें क्योंकि ऊपर सूचीबद्ध स्थानों में परिस्थितियों के आधार पर परिवर्तन किया जा सकता है।

Selection Stages in Women Military Police Recruitment 2021

The selection stage in Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police) Recruitment consists of five phases as mentioned below. 

• Stage 1: In the very first stage, candidates are required to report at the nominated venues where document verification is done before conducting the PET. 

• Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at one of the designated rally sites as mentioned in the Admit Card. 

• Stage 3: Conducting medical examination as per Army Medical Standards to assess the medical efficiency and suitability of candidates. 

• Stage 4: Conducting Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for medically fit candidates at a nominated venue. 

• Stage 5: Preparation of separate merit list and reserve list for each rally location catering to candidates from a group of States based on the geographic proximity. 

Women Military Police Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates should be 10th / Matric passed with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and 33% marks in each subject. 

• The minimum educational requirement for candidates belonging to the Gorkhas (Nepalese & Indian) community is a class 10 simple pass. 

Age Limit:

• The age of candidates to apply for the Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police) recruitment should be between 17 ½ - 21 years. 

• Candidates should have been born between 01 October 2000 to 01 April 2004 to meet the specified age limit. 

• The upper age limit in respect of widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness will be relaxable up to 30 years of age. 

Physical Requirements:

• The minimum acceptable height of the candidate is 152 cms and the weight should be in proportion to height and age as per Army Medical Standards. 

• However, the candidates belonging to the following categories will be given relaxation in height and weight. 

Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site)

• 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 Min 30 Sec to qualify as Group -I candidates, whereas, within 8 Min to qualify as Group -lI candidates. 

• 10 Feet Long Jump (Qualifying in nature) 

• 3 Feet High Jump (Qualifying in nature)

Women Military Police Selection Process 2021 - Written Examination 

• A written examination, commonly known as Common Entrance Examination (CEE), will be conducted for medically fit candidates at a nominated venue.

• The written examination is the third stage of the selection process which is conducted after the physical efficiency test and the medical examination. 

• The date, time and venue for the written test will be intimated at the rally site through admit cards.
