AFCAT 2020 Result Declared
The much awaited result is announced by Indian Air Force (IAF) for AFCAT (01/2020) on March 17. Candidates who have appeared in the AFCAT 2020 exam can access the result from the official website of IAF (afcat.cdac.in) by logging with email ID, password and captcha code. The result will display the qualifying status of the candidates who will be called for AFSB Interview.
As notified on the official website: AFCAT (01/2020) AFSB Seat selection process will be enabled from 18th March 10:00 A.M to 23rd March 10:00 A.M. Candidates can login and book AFSB exam date & centre.

- - Enter the login credentials as asked
- - AFCAT result status is displayed on the screen
- - Check and download the result
Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks to qualify the exam. AFCAT cut off out of 300 marks is expected to be around 158-163.

Calculation of scores
The marking scheme of AFCAT is given below:
- - Three marks are awarded for every correct answer
- - One mark is deducted for every incorrect
- - No marks are awarded for unattempted questions
- - The score of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct answers after applying penalty for wrong answers
Procedure after the declaration of AFCAT result 2020:
- - IAF prepares a list of candidates who obtains the minimum qualifying marks in the exam.
- - Qualified candidates are called at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) for further rounds.
- - Candidates can select their desired AFSB interview date and venue from March 21-28, 2020.
- - IAF will randomly allot interview dates and venues to candidates who fail to choose their slots by March 22, 2020.
