The Air Force Common Admission Test alias AFCAT is a gateway to Indian Air Force. It is the much awaited exam of the nation. AFCAT is a national level exam conducted twice a year to recruit Officers for Short Service Commission in Flying branch and Permanent as well as Short Service Commission in Ground Duty for technical and non- technical position.

DATES of AFCAT-I 2020 EXAM

  • Notification release- 1 December 2019
  • Application start date- 1 December 2019
  • Last date to apply- December 2019
  • Admit card release- January 2020
  • Exam- February 2020
  • Result declaration- March 2020

 

DATES of AFCAT-II 2020 EXAM

  • Notification release- 1 June 2020
  • Application start date- 1 June 2020
  • Last date to apply- July 2020
  • Admit card release- August 2020
  • Exam- September 2020
  • Result declaration- October 2020

 

AFCAT 2020 EXAM ELIGIBILTY

The candidates must have:

  • Graduation with 60% marks along with 60% marks in Physics and Maths in 10+2 level.
  • B.E or B.tech with 60% marks with 60% marks in physics and Maths in 10+2 level.

 

AFCAT 2020 EXAM AGE LIMIT

The interested applicants must range between 20- 26 years.

 

AFCAT 2020 EXAM  PATTERN

  • AFCAT is a three way process which incorporates a written exam followed by SSB interview and medical examination.
  • The subjects for the written exam involve:
  • General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Military Aptitude.
  • The exam is scheduled for 2 hours with 100 questions and 300 marks in total.
