  • Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria launches the 'Sarpanch Samvad' app. The app is aimed at connecting approximately 2.5 lakh sarpanchs across India and serves as a holistic platform for networking, knowledge dissemination, and collaboration.

Recently 'Nandini Krishak Samridhi Yojana' has been started in Uttar Pradesh State Government.

  • The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has introduced the Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana under the Nand Baba Mission to enhance cattle breeds and boost milk production in the state.

Indian Army has decided to induct 126 Dhanush Guns by 2025.

  • To upgrade the Indian Army’s firepower, the Indian Government has decided to induct 26 Dhanush Guns in the Indian Army.

  • Dhanush is a 155 mm 45 caliber gun with a range of 36 km. Dhanush is an upgrade of Bofors Guns.

Shantiniketan has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site List.

  • Shantiniketan established by Ravindra Nath Tagore in 1908 has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site List.
  • The announcement was made during the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Shaniniketan means "abode of peace".

Recently 'Madan Lal Regar' has been appointed as the new Ambassador of India to the Republic of Congo.

  • Shri Madan Lal Raigar who is presently Director in the Ministry has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Congo.
  • He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
